Alcohol & Drug Addiction Rehab in Essex

Cassiobury Court offers effective drug and alcohol rehabilitation services for patients living in Essex. If you live in Essex then why not visit our state-of-the-art fully residential rehabilitation facility. When you attend our treatment facility you receive world-renowned addiction treatment on your doorstep. Rehab typically commences with a medically assisted detox.

During detox, you or your loved-one receive 24/7 medical attention. This ensures you remain safe when you tackle potentially life-threatening withdrawal symptoms synonymous with detoxification.

Cassiobury Court employs a team of highly gifted medical practitioners including psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, professional care workers and therapists. Our highly competent team of addiction treatment specialists offer an unrivalled rehabilitation service and one that almost guarantees your long-term recovery efforts.

How treatment commences at Cassiobury Court

Before you arrive at our rehabilitation facility you receive a thorough pre-admission assessment. This assessment is conducted over the telephone. An experienced counsellor will run you through a short assessment. This assessment determines the severity of your addiction, as well as pertinent information concerning your medical history and state of mental health.

Following this assessment, you are given an admission date and time. When you arrive at our rehabilitation facility you are examined by a medical doctor. This examination is physical and psychological in nature. In order to tackle negative withdrawal symptoms occurring during detoxification, our doctor will prescribe you a suitable medication. This medication differs depending on the nature of your disorder.

For instance, those suffering from alcoholism are prescribed a drug known as Librium (chlordiazepoxide) whilst those suffering from an opiate addiction are prescribed a course of Subutex. These medications reduce symptoms such as nausea, abdominal pain, seizures and diarrhoea experienced during detoxification. Patients also receive highly nutritious means as well as essential supplements such as vitamin-B, glutamine and melatonin.
